SOUTH POINT — ROBERT F. PAULEY, 77, of South Point, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, in Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Ky. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Pemberton officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Robert was born on Sept. 11, 1932, in Lawrence County, a son of the late Tim and Ruby Fletcher Pauley. He was a member of Lorain Street Gospel Mission Church, a baseball coach for many years with Ironton and South Point Little Leagues, and he retired from Carlyle Tile and as a custodian with South Point Schools. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Phyllis Jean McCoy Pauley; four children, Tim (Millie) Pauley of Kitts Hill, Jeff (Diana) and Kevin (Angie) Pauley, all of South Point, and John Pauley of Ironton; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Dickess of Ironton, Carol (Carl) Fuller of Coal Grove, and Judy (Ken) Myers of Kitts Hill; his best friend, Ralph Coburn; and three special couples, Bob and Wendy Boyer, Ronnie and Jackie Jenkins, and Billy and Jennifer Newcomb.
