Sheriff’s Reports

Domestic Violence – 100 block of Kelly Lane, Chesapeake Monday, woman reports man pushed her. No injuries reported. Victim advised she wants to press charges. Suspect named.

Violation of Protection Order – 1800 Block of County Road 411 Proctorville reported Aug. 16, woman said that her son, whom she has a protection order against, came to the woman’s parking lot of her business. Suspect named.

Animals running at large – County Road 8, Willow Wood, reported Aug. 19, horse found running loose, suspect named.

Assault – 300 block of County Road 406 South Point, Monday, woman reports altercation with employee. Suspect named.

Breaking and entering – 11000 block of State Route 217 Monday, Scottown,– glass broken, cigarettes and knives taken from business.

Petty Theft – 100 block of County Road 181 Ironton reported Friday, woman reported that someone took 75 feet of three-phase wire from her garage. No suspects.

Petty Theft – Private Drive 2404 Kitts Hill, reported Thursday, woman reported that firearms and churns were taken from her mother’s residence. Investigation pending.

Trouble – area of Moose Lodge Monday, man who’s on probation reportedly drunk at the lodge. Subject advised.

Breaking and Entering- Seventh and Lawrence Street Monday- warehouse reportedly broken into.

Panhandling- no location given Monday, man reportedly asking for money. Subject advised to move on.

Fraud report- no location given Monday, caller wanted to file a report on ATM fraud.

Hip/Skip – area of Pick’n’Save Monday. Vehicle hit.

Suspicious Vehicle- corner of Sixth and Kemp Monday, gray car parked for nine days.

Domestic – 800 block of South 10th Street Monday, woman reported that man came to her apartment and shoved her down. Woman declined to press charges.

Theft – 400 block of mulberry Monday- woman reports her nephew’s bike was stolen.

Complaint- man reportedly harassing woman. Left prior to officer’s arrival.

Assault- area of Frog Town Monday – woman reports she was assaulted Sunday by two other women.

Prowler- 1100 Block of South Fifth Street Monday – someone reportedly messing around a login cabin caller has in side yard. Request an officer. Negative contact, officer will keep a check.

Assualt – 500 block of South Eighth Street Monday- woman reportedly assaulted.

Snake- 400 block of North Sixth Street Tuesday- woman advised there was a black snake in her bed when she woke up. Unable to locate snake.

Speak with an officer- 500 block of So. Eighthth Street Tuesday- man came in woman’s house through window. She advised she didn’t want him there. Officers will keep a check.

Stolen bike- 700 block of South Ninth Street Tuesday. Bike was chained to porch.
