PEDRO — Eloise McFann, 70, of Pedro went to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 27, 2010. The Ironton native was born May 19, 1940 a daughter of the late Edmond and Helen Hall Campbell. Eloise was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and retired in 2010 as a Secretary for the Rock Hill Board of Education after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Cannons Creek EUB Church in Pedro. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Hankins; sister-in-law, Wilma Campbell; and two brothers-in-law, Donald Dalton and Joe Malone.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Keith Cumpton of Appling, GA; a daughter, Sharon McFann of Savannah, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Bob Wilds of Ironton, a brother; Eddie Campbell of Pedro, brother, Ronnie Campbell of Sidney, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Joyce Campbell of Pedro; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Paula Campbell of Pedro; brother, Mike Campbell of Port Jefferson; sister and brother-in-law, June and Johnnie Bryant of Ironton, sister, Inez Malone of Pedro; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and James Bradshaw of Tampa, Fla., five grandchildren, Derek Wetter of Spartanburg, SC, Kyra and Joe Leseberg of Appling, Ga., Nikki and Jeff Fraley of Portsmouth, Shayne Wilds of Ironton, Trey Wilds of Ironton and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 at Phillips Funeral Home 1004 South Seventh St. Ironton, with Rev. Dale Knipp and Rev. Mark Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Furnace Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
