Grand jury returns indictments

Five people arrested during a drug raid in South Point were among those indicted by a Lawrence County Grand Jury.

The raid took place at the Country Hearth Motel last week. Rebekah Greer, 29, of 2132 Thomas St., Ashland, was indicted on a charge of attempted possession of drugs. William Nickles, 32, of 94 C Street, Lousia, Ky., was charged with attempted drug possession. David Nelson, 49, of 109 Birchwood Lane, Middletown, N.J., was indicted for obstructing justice.

Timothy Williams, 37, of 4030 25th St. SW, Lehigh Acres, Fla., was charged with three counts aggravated trafficking in drugs, two counts of aggravated possession of drugs.

Alfred Williams, 50, of 945 Fordson Ave., Labelle, Fla., was charged with three counts of complicity to aggravated trafficking in drugs and two counts of complicity to aggravated possession of drugs.

During the raid, cash, 614 oxycodone pills and 97 xanax pills were recovered.

The following people were also indicted:

Dane Deer, 50, of 509 1/2 Hecla St. Ironton, one count of felony driving under the influence.

Zachary Abrams, 21, of 2689 Whittenburg Drive, Lancaster, one count of aggravated drug possession.

Kelli Vickers, 30, of 412 S. Ninth St., Ironton, one count of aggravated possession of drugs.

Albert Jenkins, 39, of 620 Lawrence St., Ironton, one count of trafficking in marijuana.

Richard Jones, 74, who has no address and is in the care of his daughter, one count of resisting arrest and one count of violation a protection order.

Craig Riggle, 36, of 547 County Road 128, Hanging Rock, three counts of gross sexual imposition and three counts of public indecency.

Justin Wood, 21, of 1189 County Road 18, South Point, one count of unlawful sexual contact with a minor and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

James Keller, 26, of 929 State Route 779, Proctorville, burglary, theft of drugs, grand theft, complicity to grand theft of a motor vehicle, and illegal use or possession of paraphernalia.

Crystal Black, 21, of 1097 County Road 1, South Point, burglary, theft of drugs, grand theft, possession of drugs, complicity to grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Rebekah Sawyers, 24, of 1701 Clements Drive, Ashland, Ky., burglary, theft of a motor vehicle.

Khara Karshner, 20, of 1418 Gallagher Drive, Ashland, Ky. , burglary, grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Kathleen Pinkerman, 45, of 1829 Shopes Creek Road, Ashland, Ky., possession of crack cocaine and theft.

Jeremy Pinkerman, 23, of 419 Sixth St., Huntington, W.Va., aggravated possession of drugs.

Robert Hembling, 46, of 1152 Oak St., Elizabethtown, Ky., theft by deception and grand theft by deception.

Kimberly Danto, 34, of 5724 Windwood Drive, Dublin, tampering with evidence, possession of drugs, and domestic violence.

Michael Compton, 37, of 396 County Road 70, Proctorville, burglary.

Heather Pyle, 29, of 3349 Route 75, Huntington, W.Va., complicity to aggravated trafficking in drugs.

Kerrie Boggs, 43, of County Hearth Inn room 336, aggravated possession of drugs.

There were also seven secret indictments drugs.
