Betty Lucille Rosenkrantz 81, of Ironton passed away Monday, September 6, 2010, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.  The Springfield native was born March 7, 1929, the daughter of the late Ray and Nellie Barnett Kearns.
Mrs. Rosenkrantz attended Fredericktown Schools, was a homemaker and was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center in Ironton. She has lived in the Lawrence County area since 1958 and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ray Kearns; and a sister, Juanita May Kearns. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Mary Seymour of Thompson, Ga.; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Lois Kearns of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Daniel Bird of Fredericktown; a loving friend of 40 years, William Brickey of Ironton.
Graveside services will be 12 p.m. Friday at Templeton Cemetery in Milton, W.Va. There will be no public visitation.
