Lady Dragons top Chesy
PROCTORVILLE — Three straight wins meant a third win for the Fairland Lady Dragons.
Fairland beat the Chesapeake Lady Panthers in three straight sets as they won for the third time this season in an Ohio Valley Conference volleyball match Thursday.
The Lady Dragons won 25-22, 25-14 and 25-22 as they improved to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the OVC.
Kennon Clarkson scored 12 points and Kamren Mendoza 8 points while Samantha Lamb had 8 kills to pace Fairland.
Amanda Ruffner scored 8 points and Sarah Rice had 6 to lead Chesapeake.
Fairland hosts Ironton at 5 p.m. Tuesday in a non-league match.
