When fans watch the big game, they’ll see some little changes.

Ironton and visiting fans will see a few changes at this season’s football games beginning Friday night when the Fighting Tigers host the unbeaten and high-powered Ashland Tomcats.

“We’re doing a few things different and we ask everyone to be patient,” said Ironton athletic director Mark LaFon. “These changes will be beneficial, it just might be a little inconvenient with the large crowd we’re anticipating.”

LaFon said fans should allow extra time to enter the stadium due to the large crowd that is anticipated for the rivalry.

The ticket window is no longer as fans enter Tanks Memorial Stadium. Instead, a ticket window will be at the corner of the Conley Sports Center.

Fans entering the stadium from the Ohio University Southern parking lot will have a new entrance that will go through the new auto mechanics building parking lot.

The concession stand on the visitors’ side has been moved to the corner of the auto mechanics building along with new restrooms for men and women.

Advance tickets for the game will be on sale starting Tuesday. General admission seats are $6 and reserve seats are $7. General admission tickets are available at Bob Linn Sporting Goods and also at the Armory along with reserve seats.
