PROCTORVILLE — Kamren Mendoza and Sashe Burcham may not be similar in many ways, but they put up similar performances Wednesday.

The two volleyball players helped the Fairland Lady Dragons take a straight sets win over the Coal Grove Lady Hornets in an Ohio Valley Conference match, 25-15, 25-16, and 25-10.

Mendoza and Burcham scored 15 points each and they registered seven kills apiece.

Kennon Clarkson added 13 points while Chloe Stanley had 10 points including five aces. Burcham had eight aces.

Stormie Spitzer contributed eight digs for the Lady Dragons.

Coal Grove was led by Halley Johnson who scored 9 points.

The Lady Dragons host South Point at 5 p.m. Tuesday in a pivotal OVC match.
