Albert “Ab” Moore, 92, of Ironton went home to be with the Lord Wednesday evening September the 15, 2010.

Albert was born Nov. 29, 1917, in Dickson, W.Va., of the late Emanuel and Annie Ross Moore. Albert came to Ironton, Ohio in 1937 and retired after more than 45 years of carpentry work.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 67 years Mary Edith Anson Moore.

Surviving are Karen Huff, who was like a daughter to him, and her husband Billy; nephews Ronnie Moore of Alabama and Michael Johnston of Cannonsburg, Ky.; nieces Cindy Ray of Huntington, W.Va., Nancy Horn of Frankfort, Ky. and Linda Johnson of South Point; and a dear and special friend, J.C. Johnson of Ironton.

Graveside services will be held noon Saturday at Bradshaw Cemetery with Pastor Mike Huff officiating. There will be no public visitation.
