Hazel B. Brammer

Hazel B. Brammer, 85, of Ironton, passed away Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. She was born on Aug. 2, 1925, in Ironton, the daughter of the late Jesse and Margaret Keenan Hackworth. She was retired from the Henrites Corporation. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse and Jerry Hackworth; and one sister, Faye Destocki.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bernard F. Brammer of Ironton, whom she married on April 7, 1950; one brother, Bernard Hackworth of Ironton; three sisters: Alice Schillinger of Columbus, Kathleen Schiffman of Boone, N.C. and Geneva Daniels of Harvest, Ala.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Cremeans officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Pallbearers will be Eddie Brammer, Tim Brammer, Larry Brammer, James Brammer, David Estes and Clinton Neal.
