Lori Bond of Coal Grove and Errol Bond of Ashland, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Sue Bond of Coal Grove to Eugene Thomas Adkins of Catlettsburg Ky., the son of Donna Wilson of Catlettsburg and the late George Adkins Sr. The wedding will be Oct. 9 2010, at 2:30 p.m. at Ironville Independent Baptist Church in Ashland. The reception will follow the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus in Ironton. The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School and is attending Ashland Community and Technical College working on a degree in social work. The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Boyd County High School and plans to attend classes to receive his commercial drivers license in November. Invitations have been sent.
