JACKSON — Wilma Jane Whitley Baird, 57 of Jackson passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Holzer Medical Center. She was born in Huntington W.Va., Jan. 31, 1953, to the late Russell Whitley and Wykle Stephens VanPelt of Crown City. She was an EMT with Air Life Ambulance and a graduate of South Point High School.

In addition to her mother she is survived by children, Lara (Mike) Brewer of Radcliff, Tomi (Pete) Lee of Gallipolis and Amanda (Justin Sickles) Baird; brother and sisters, Errol (Judee) Whitley, Diane (Bucky) Gipson and Linda Whitley; grandchildren Casey, Haley, Brewer, Jamie, William and Breana Craft and Jayden Shrewsbury.

In addition to her father she is preceded in death by one brother, Michael Lynn Whitley.

The family wants to say thanks to special friend Teresa Eddie.
