Loretta Mae “Nan” Bingam Kelley, 92, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ashland, Ky., native was born May 14, 1918, the daughter of the late Janette Rouan Bingam. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilford E. Kelley.
Mrs. Kelley was a graduate of Ashand High School and a former housekeeper for the Ohio Youth Center, retiring in 1988. She was of the Episcopalian faith.
In addition to her mother and husband, she was also preceded in death by son, Wilford E. “Bub” Kelley; brother, Jack Bingam; and grandson, Kelly Gallian.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Keith Dodson of Hanging Rock; daughter, Becky Cunningham of Ironton; sister, Joyce Magazoo of New Jersey; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Bob Bates of New Jersey; son-in-law: Ellis “Boog” Cunningham of Ashland; daughter-in-law, Hattie Kelley of Ashland; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Chris and Brenda Gallian of Ironton, Jenny and Charlie Norris of Pedro, Angel and Ray Reddecker of Ashland, Shelley and Stan Carrothers of Texas, Gabbie Owens of Ironton, Mike and Lisa Kelley of Pedro, Scotty and Gretchen Cunningham of Kitts Hill, Keisha and Jim Gills of Indiana, Heidi and Morris Barrier of Texas and Alisha Cunningham of Ironton; 15 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Thursday at Hayes Phillips Funeral Home, with Brother Mike Triplett officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipfuneralhome.net.
