SOUTH POINT — T.J. Young turned out to be a pretty good reliever.

With starting goalkeeper Justin Mahlmeister sidelined with an injury, senior T.J. Young shifted to the goalie position and turned in a shutout as the St. Joseph Flyers blanked the South Point Pointers 7-0 Tuesday night.

“We played well on both sides of the ball, offensively and defensively,” said Flyers’ coach Dan Blair.

“T.J. Young did a nice job taking over for Justin Mahlmeister.”
