Sheriff’s reports

Theft – without consent – Sept. 29, 2010, 300 block of Township Road 1214, Ironton, several items missing from house over the past month. Suspect named.

Theft – Township Road 287 N, Chesapeake Monday, man told woman he could install a soffitt in her home. She wrote him a $500 check for materials. Man allegedly never bought the materials or did the work. Suspect named.

Assault – 400 block of County Road 3, Chesapeake, Tuesday, man threatened man via MySpace, allegedly assaulted him at his home. Suspect named.

Aggravated burglary – 2200 block of County Road 35, Chesapeake, Tuesday, house burglarized, pistols and medication stolen.

Theft – Charlie Creek Road BP, South Point, Sept. 1, money stolen from purse. Suspect named.

Domestic violence — 100 block of Township Road 1053, Proctorville, man allegedly threatened to kill wife if she divorced him. Justin Errol Christos, 30, of 128 Township Road 1053, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.

County Jail

Ronald S. McGinnis, 28, of 101 Little Garner Road, Ashland, Ky., forgery, petty theft Wednesday by the South Point Police Department.

Timothy L. Shively, Jr., 24, of 1377 State Route 522, Pedro, disorderly conduct, Wednesday by the Ironton Police Department.

John W. Runyon II, 44, of 14532 State Route 7, Proctorville, commitment Tuesday by the Lawrence County Municipal Court.
