PEDRO — Kenneth James “KC” Corbin, 16, of Pedro passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. The Huntington native was born May 19, 1994, the son of Kenneth and Jamie Cox Corbin of Pedro.

KC formerly attended Ironton Open Door School. He loved to ride 4-wheelers, fishing and loafing with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clancy and Laura Corbin.

In addition to his parents KC is survived by his four sisters, Mary Cox of Pedro, Kayla Cox of Pedro, Joanna and Larry Callicoat of Pedro and Shelby and David Chapman of Portsmouth; two nephews, Landon Gregory Cox and Inman James Cox; one niece, Lilly Grace Howard; the maternal grandparents, Joann and Ercil Cox of Pedro; uncle and aunt, Jimmy and Rebecca Cox of Pedro; and several other aunts and uncles.

Funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Revs. Ronnie and Steven Blagg officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Furnace Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
