plans registration

The Coal Grove Little League Basketball will conduct registration for grades K-6 at the Coal Grove Hornets’ home football game Friday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16. Fee is $30 per player (cash only).

IHS cheerleaders

plan spaghetti meal

The Ironton High School cheerleaders will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4-7 p.m. on Friday in the Central Christian Church gym prior to the Ironton vs. Bishop Hartley football game.

Dinners are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Dinner includes salad, roll, and drink.

Cheerleaders are: Emma Scherer, Keirann Summers, Hannah Cronacher, Alicia Murphy, Katie Barron, Haley Waldo, Kylie Thomas, Abbie Crowe, Morgan Weisgarber, Elle Johnson, Tori Crabtree, Mia Wilson, Sarah Lambert and Tesla Volgares.

Dinner planned

for York/Mayo fund

PROCTORVILLE — A spaghetti dinner will be held to benefit the Cark York-Jim Mayo Scholarship Fund that benefits two graduating seniors each year.

The dinner will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Fairland Middle School. Guest speakers will be Donald Capper and Allen Miller who both played for Mayo and York and will offer some insight to their careers.
