“Think Pink.”
The Symmes Valley Vikings team colors are red and gray while the Oak Hill Oaks are black and white, but both will be leaning toward pink in their showdown game Friday.
Friday’s game not only carries the importance of deciding first place in the Southern Ohio Conference Division I, but the game will be a “Touchdown for a Cure” game to benefit the Susan G Komen Foundation to help find a cure for breast cancer.
The color pink will be painted everywhere on and around the field and fans are being asked to wear pink.
T-shirts to raise funds will be on sale all week. Shirts are $10 for sizes small to XL, $12 for XXL and $13 for XXXL. Checks should be made payable to Walking Warriors.
There will be a victory walk at halftime for all cancer survivors, their families and cancer victims’ families.
