Catherine L. (Kitty) Kuehne of Ironton, 81, died Thursday, Oct. 28. 2010, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was the wife of Jerrold U. Kuehne. She was born June 6, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Henry Edward and Elva Balch Smithson. She was a retired registered nurse from River Valley Hospital. She was a member of the 13th Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Billy Smithson and one sister Loetta Smithson. She is survived by her husband, Jerrold; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ron and Wendy Kuehne, Paul and Lisa Kuehne, and Tom Kuehne; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Kevin Cunningham, all of Ironton.

She is survived by 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two sisters, Sue Ann Ramsey of Dunbar W.Va., and Jean Carol Fisher of Cross Lanes W.Va.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home. A church memorial service will at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at 13th Baptist Church in Ashland, Ky. with Rev. Bill Parker officiating. Graveside burial service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday in Section 10, Woodland Cemetery.
