Holliday suspends walk-on

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Marshall University head football coal Doc Holliday says he’s suspended a freshman defensive lineman following his arrest.

Holliday announced the suspension of Grady Kerr on Monday, hours after he was arrested in Huntington. No details about the arrest or charges were made public by the school.

Holliday says Kerr has been suspended indefinitely.

Marshall says Kerr was a non-scholarship player from New Smyrna Beach, Fla. He hasn’t played this season.
