KITTS HILL — Billie M. Alford, 74, of Kitts Hill, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was the husband of Phyllis Miller Alford whom he married Dec. 28, 1956.

He was born Nov. 18, 1936, to the late Wilbur and Martha Sites Alford. He was raised in the home of Willard and Blanch Clay. He was retired from Columbia Gas. He was a member of Ice Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Alford. He is survived by his wife and one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Danny Kline of Union Ky.; three sons, Dale Mitchell Alford and Tanya Barber of Deering, Tim and Ginger Alford of Kitts Hill and David Alford of Kitts Hill; and three grandchildren, Todd Alford, Kinsey Alford and Kayla Alford, all of Kitts Hill.

Funeral will be Tuesday at Ice Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Deering at 1 p.m. with Rev. Larry Mullins officiating. Visitation will be at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home today from 6 to 9 p.m. Burial will be at Community Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
