Sheriff’s reports

Petty theft, complicity, delinquent child — 300 block of Private Drive 288, South Point, Nov. 17, two juveniles allegedly tried to steal items from Walmart. Juveniles arrested.

Theft — 1600 block of County Road 4, Pedro, Nov. 18, jewelry, other items allegedly taken from a residence.

Burglary — Township Road 1105, Proctorville, Nov. 17, woman alleges that her family’s two pet dogs and rabbit were taken from the home.

Theft — Township Road 1302, Chesapeake, Nov. 18, man alleges that someone cut the lock on his four wheeler and stole it during the night.

Theft — 1300 block of Township Road 165, Willow Wood, Nov. 14, man alleges that an unknown subject stole the A/C unit and plumbing from a church.

Theft by deception — 100 block of Township Road 251S, South Point, Nov. 17, man alleges that someone stole four new tires and a stereo from his son’s Camero.

Telephone harrassment — State Route 373, Pedro, Nov. 18, woman alleges that another woman has called her approximately 40 times, threatening to kill her, destroy her vehicle and burn her residence. Suspect named.

Convey/possess weapon on school property/ juvenile offenses — 900 block of County Road 60, South Point, Nov. 18, South Point Middle School student allegedly brought at multi-purpose tool with a knife to school. Found when administrators recieved information that student had tobacco. Suspect arrested and taken to group home.

Domestic violence — Township Road 150, Pedro, Nov. 18, man and woman allege that another man slapped them and threatened them, then struck another man, causing a laceration and attempted to drag him from his vehicle. Suspect named.

Theft — 700 block of Park Avenue, 7:54 a.m. Monday, tailgate allegedly stolen from vehicle. Information for report.

Hit and run — 1500 block of Lawrence Street, woman reports that her car was hit Oct.8 and she was just told who did it. Information for incident report taken.

Kid on rail road tracks — 3:30 p.m. Monday, Ellison Avenue, man said a young girl is playing too close to railroad tracks. Unable to locate.

Theft — 7:05 p.m. Monday, man alleges someone stole his camera while he was at the parade. Information filed for report.

Theft — 300 block of Susan Court 7:10 p.m. Monday, woman alleges someone stole a generator from a parade float. Information filed for report.

Traffic hazard — South Third Street, 7:16 p.m. Monday, woman says another woman on a motorized vehicle is in traffic lanes headed toward Coal Grove. Unable to locate.

Trouble — 8:18 p.m. Monday, man says it he hears a fight in an apartment. One female taken to sheriff’s office for warrants.

Accident — State Route 141, 8:20 p.m., Monday trailer allegedly stuck under overhang at church, parties advised.

Theft — 900 block of Wyanoke Street, 8:45 p.m. Monday, man alleges someone broke into his garage and took tools. Information for report.

Prowler — 1:34 a.m. Tuesday, guard claims two men were on property, wouldn’t stop when he told them to so he shot at them. Checked area, negative contact, will patrol area tonight.

Theft report — 700 block of South Tenth Street, 2:29 p.m. Tuesday, woman said someone broke into her home and took jewerly box and guns. Information for report.

Theft report — 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, 2500 block of South Fourth Street, man reports someone broke into garage and took things. information for report.

Domestic — 1000 block of South Seventh Street, 10:42 a.m., man says his son is swearing at him, threatening him. Subject left prior to arrival.
