Ursuline rolls past Coldwater

CANTON (AP) — Akise Teague scored five touchdowns and totaled 343 yards as Youngstown Ursuline won its third consecutive Ohio Division V high school football championship, 51-21 over Coldwater on Saturday.

The Fighting Irish (15-0), in their fourth straight title game, won their fourth championship. They also won in 2000 over Coldwater.

Teague, The Associated Press’ 2010 Ohio Mr. Football, finished his senior season with 48 touchdowns. He opened the scoring by taking a swing pass from Paul Kempe and running 73 yards to the end zone. He added scoring runs of 46, 65, 17 and 42 yards, rushing for 249 yards. He had four receptions for 94 yards.

The 30 points were a Division V championship game individual record.

Reese Klenke caught nine passes for 125 yards and three touchdowns for the Cavaliers (11-4), who overcame a 1-2 start under new coach Chip Otten. He replaced John Reed, who passed away from cancer in May.
