Things clicked right for the Green Lady Bobcats as they beat the Latham Western Lady Indians 53-43 Monday in a Southern Ohio Conference game.

“We’ve haven’t really clicked because of injuries and sickness. We finally had our best five on the floor and they just clicked,” said Bridges.

Ali Suttles scored 15 points to go with six rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead the Lady Bobcats to their first win.

Dinah McCloud had 11 points and Carlee Pollard grabbed 10 rebounds.

“Dinah McCloud stepped up for us tonight. We needed that,” said Bridges.

McCloud scored seven points in the first quarter as Green jumped out to a 20-13 lead.

Western got within 27-24 at the half and rallied to take a 36-34 lead after three quarters.

But Erin Imes came off the bench to scored 8 points in the fourth quarter as Green outscored Western 19-7 to take the win.
