Amy and Shannon Brown of Argillite, Ky. would like to announce the birth of their daughter, Violet Mae Brown. She was born on Oct. 24, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center and weighed six pounds six ounces and was 20.25 inches long.

Violet’s maternal grandparents are Kenny and Karen Pennington. Her paternal grandparents are Jim and Deborah Brown.

Violet was welcomed home by her big brothers, Uriah and Elijah.
