COAL GROVE — Eleanor Fields, 90, of Coal Grove, died, Thursday Dec.23, 2010, at Jo-LinHealth Center. She was born Oct. 20, 1920, the daughter of the late Carl and Priscilla Compliment Fields.

She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the C.W.C. She was a graduate of Saint Mary’s School of nursing and a retired registered nurse of fifty years from Lawrence County Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by six brothers: Lester Fields, William Fields, Merrill E. Fields, Donald Fields, Robert Fields, and Edward Fields; and two sisters, Clara Bell Fields and Rose Howley.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Charlotte Janiece Fields; and nieces and nephews: Anne Haynes Robert Fields, Steve Fields, Donald Fields Ray Fields, Edward Fields, Bill Fields, and Rick Fields.

Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Joseph Church with Father Tim Kozak officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
