Sheriff’s report

Making false reports- 1200 block of Township Road 278, Chesapeake, Tuesday, juvenile female allegedly told a school counselor she had been raped, then reportedly told a deputy she was lying about the incident.

Domestic violence- 1000 block of County Road 1 Tuesday, South Point, woman alleges her boyfriend threatened her, threw items and hit her. Suspect named.

Unruly juvenile- Township Road 1104 Proctorville, Monday, woman reports her son, who is on probation, left without permission and she hasn’t heard from him.

Menacing by stalking- Township Road 618, South Point, Dec. 12, 2010, man and woman report they are being stalked by two suspects. Suspect named.

Vandalism- 400 block of Private Drive 288, South Point, Tuesday, Sam’s Club employee alleges that three men cut a chain on a fence in an attempt to steal. They allegedly left when confronted.

Identity theft- 200 block of Township Road 300, Ironton, man alleges someone opened a credit card in his name. Suspect named.

Breaking and entering- 200 block of County Road 406, South Point, Monday, Ponderosa employee reports the lock on the restaurant’s freezer door had been cut and several boxes of steaks were missing.

Domestic violence- 1000 block of County Road 1, South Point, woman alleges her husband, who was under the influence of drugs, pushed and kicked her. Suspect named.

Assault- Lawrence County Jail- Tuesday, two prisoners allegedly had an altercation. Buddy Hardy, 27, of 26 PRivate Drive 1633 County Road 59, Chesapeake, charged with assault.

Domestic violence- 500 block of Township Road 1161, Proctorville, Monday, women alleges her husband twisted her arm behind her back and slammed her head into the hood of a vehicle. Kris A. Ferguson, 44, of 561 Township Road 1161, Monday, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.

Unauthorized use of vehicle- 400 block of Private Drive 10461, Proctorville, Tuesday, man alleges his son took his vehicle to Washington D.C. Suspect named.

Cruelty to animals- 100 block of Township Road 1216, Proctorville, Monday, veterinarian reports a dog is malnourished and had lost an amount of weight. Suspect named.
