Joanne Lewis Roberts, 74, of Ironton, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland Ky. She was born Nov. 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Nathan and Mattie Heard Lewis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Roberts, and one brother, Norman Roberts.

Joanne is survived by two sons, James Douglas Roberts of Ironton and Michael Ray (Linda) Williams of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Herbert (Carolyn) Lewis of Ironton and Nathan Lewis, both of Ironton; two sisters, Rosemary Esterling Lewis of Huntington W. Va. and Vivian Pratt of Ironton; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
