CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.– Judith Arlene Stickler Church, 75, of Clarksville, Tenn., died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at Baptist Hospital, Nashville, Tenn. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday at Hilldale Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Robertson, Brother Terry Brown, and Brother Verlon Moore officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – West. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born Jan. 30, 1935 in Ironton, daughter of the late Ray Stickler and Pauline Brown McCarthy. Judy was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church where she was a former pianist. Survivors include her husband CW4 (R) James Kenneth Church; a son CW5 (R) James Richard Church (Cindy), of Clarksville; daughters, Teresa Helf (John), of Woodstock, GA; Kimberly Mumm (Eric), of London, England; and Jami Morrison (Curtis), of Clarksville; brother, Kenneth Stickler; sister, Doris Stogsdill; seven grandchildren: Jennifer Church Harris, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; James Caleb Church, of Albuquerque, NM; Melissa Helf George, of Woodstock, Ga.; Emily Helf English, Woodstock, GA; Allyson Mumm, London, England; Holly Stanley Jewell, of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Victoria Nelson, of Clarksville; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Hannah and her beloved dog Sophie. Pallbearers will be Terry Bowers, Donald Leforge, Robert Hall, James Brown, Mark Russell, and Dewayne Patterson. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission, 639 Lafayette St., Nashville, Tenn. 37203.
