Bobby Ray Jenkins

Bobby Ray Jenkins of Ironton passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, from complications due to emphysema at the age of 58. He is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Jenkins and his brother David Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins was a 1970 graduate of Green High School, a veteran of the United States Army and was owner and operator of Swirl Drywall for 35 years. He was also an avid woodworker and hunter.

He is survived by his father, Paris Jenkins; his wife, Vicki Jenkins; and his brothers, Bill Jenkins, George Jenkins, and Keith Jenkins. He is also survived by his children, Jon Jenkins, Jim Jenkins and April Cremeans. He was the loving grandfather to six grandchildren, Cheyanne Rogers, Joshua Jenkins, Alex Cremeans, Jenna Jenkins, Nathan Cremeans and Paris Cremeans. He leaves his nieces and nephews as well whom he loved greatly.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Haverhill Cemetery with Minister Rick Mollett and Pastor Gary Arthurs officiating. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S.
