Alma Roush

Alma Marie Collins Roush, 90, of Ironton, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at a local health care center. The Ironton native was born May 10, 1920, the daughter of the late Elmer and Nora Holland Collins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Roush.

Mrs. Roush was a 1938 graduate of Ironton High School and was a former employee of Wilson’s Sporting Goods where she made ball gloves. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church in Ironton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Roush; and 11 brothers.

She is survived by a son, Greg Roush of Columbus.

Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home with Minister Brent Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be Thursday from 11a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
