COAL GROVE —Carl E. “Hudy” Clark, 67, in Coal Grove, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, after a brief illness. He was born May 17, 1943, and graduated from Dawson-Bryant High School in 1961. He was an avid softball player for more than 55 years and he enjoyed bowling and his Hudy-Delight. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Mary; his parents, Edna (Bush) and Harry Clark; sisters, Pauline and Helen; brothers: John, Arvil, Richard (Demon), Harry Jr. and Keith; and stepsons, David and Dan Kirk. He is survived by sister: Juanita Dodd of Portsmouth; stepdaughters, Della Clark of Chillicothe and Donna (Ken) Rigsby of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many other friends plus a special friend, Joan Debord. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 W. Broad St., Columbus, on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Graveside service and inurnment will be 11:30 a.m.Friday at Woodland Cemetery in Coal Grove.
