Nancy Carolyn Freeman, 66, of Ironton, died Thursday, March 24, 2011. She was born May 7, 1944, in Ironton, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruth (Wilson) Freeman.

Nancy worshipped for many years at Sedgwick Methodist and Central Christian Churches in Ironton and was currently a member of Christ Temple Church in Huntington, W. Va.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gene Bruneau.

Surviving are her sister, Alice Freeman Bruneau of Ironton; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Linda Freeman of Ironton and Dale and Karen Freeman of Ashland, Ky.

Visiting hours will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Central Christian Church, Ironton with funeral at 1 p.m. by pastor Chuck Lawrence of Christ Temple Church and remarks by Nancy’s former pastor at Central Christian Church, Glen Wheeler.
