HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Marshall University senior defensive lineman Vinny Curry has been named to the GoDaddy.com 2011 preseason All-American team.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Curry was named to the second team. As a junior, he led all defensive linemen in the nation with 94 tackles — 7.83 per game — and ranked fifth in the nation with 12 quarterback sacks.

His 18 tackles for a loss ranked second in Conference USA and among the leaders in the nation.
