Karen Elaine Jones McCown, 69, passed away on April 17, 2011, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was born Feb. 17, 1942, the daughter of the late H. Clive and Avanelle Kelley Jones.

A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ironton. Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

At the family’s request, donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society, but if friends desire to send flowers, please send them to the church for the memorial service.
