FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Master Sgt. (Ret.) Nathaniel William Allred Jr., 53, of Fayetteville, N.C., formerly of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011, in Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, N.C. Nathaniel was born April 27, 1958, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Loretta Maxine Ramsey Conwell and the late Nathaniel William Allred, Sr. Nathaniel was a 1976 graduate of South Point High School.

He later joined the United States Air Force where he served 23 years. Nathaniel is survived by his wife, Alessandra Allred of the home; son, Nathaniel William Allred, III, of Raleigh; brothers, Danny Conwell and wife Debbie of Burlington, Dane Conwell of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Jonathan Conwell of Burlington; sister, Benita Johnson and husband Joe of Baldwin, Fla.; father and mother, Jesse Bernard Conwell and Loretta Maxine Conwell both of Burlington; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
