Commission meeting date changed
IRONTON — The Lawrence County Commissioners will have their weekly meeting on Tuesday, starting at 9:30 a.m.
The change is because of the Greater Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Day scheduled for Thursday, the commission’s regular meeting date. The meetings will return to the regular date on May 19.
Dinner theater set for Saturday
PEDRO — The Rock Hill High School Show Choir will have a dinner theater on Saturday.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12, $10 and $8, based on proximity to stage.

Dinner proceeds to support fair
PROCTORVILLE — The Doug Clark Memorial Spaghetti Dinner will be at 7 p.m. May 24 at Fairland Middle School Single tickets are $20 and sponsorship tickets are $100. All proceeds will be used for fairground improvements.
Clark was a longtime supporter of the Lawrence County Junior Fair.

Photo scavenger hunt Tuesday
ASHLAND, Ky. — The final Teen Tuesdays program for this school year is a photo scavenger hunt on May 10 at the Main Branch. All area teens are welcome.
The program starts at 6 p.m., and will take place inside and outside. After the hunt, pizza will be served in the Reading Garden, weather permitting. The Main Branch is at 1740 Central Ave.
Teen Tuesdays is held the second Tuesday of each month during the school year.
It will start up again in September. Many of the programs are suggested by the Teen Library Council, which also meets on the second Tuesday, year-round, at 5 p.m. at Main.
