Due to the water pressure drop from numerous leaks on the system, Hecla Water Association is issuing a boil water advisory for the following townships: Washington, Decatur, Symmes, Aid, Elizabeth, Upper and Lawrence until Sunday.  It is recommended to boil water three minutes.

Hecla Water is requesting a conserve water notice for all customers so that the storage tanks will have a chance to fill while leaks are being discovered and repaired.  Five of the water storage tanks have experienced very low water pressure.

The water conservation request and the boil advisory will remain in effect until Sunday, May 22, at which time the system will be evaluated to determine if the advisories can be lifted or if they will be extended.
