Annual event is staple of weekend activities

The annual Charity Fair to benefit Ironton Catholic Schools begins this evening and continues through Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church and High School.

The fair begins today at 7 p.m. with Monte Carlo Night at the Knights of Columbus, 2101 S. Third St. Doors open at 7 p.m. Games begin at 8 p.m. The music group Return will perform. Monte Carlo Night is sponsored by Ironton Catholic Schools Support Organization.

The Fair reopens Saturday at 11 a.m. with games, raffles and food booths. The high school variety show band Senior Discounts will perform at 5:30 p.m. followed by the band Irish Town at 7 p.m.

Another favorite is the spaghetti dinner 2-6 p.m. Sunday in the church undercroft. The group City Heat will perform at 7 p.m. Activities begin Saturday at 2 p.m.

The fair concludes Monday.

The event includes games, inflatables for kids, raffles and food vendors.
