K of C golf scramble

planned for Saturday

The Knights of Columbus Council No. 1405 will conduct its annual benefit golf scramble Saturday at Diamondlinks Golf Course.

An 8:30 a.m. shotgun start will be used. Prizes will be given and food and drinks will be provided.

Symmes Valley plans

basketball camps

The Symmes Valley Vikings’ basketball program will conduct a camp for boys and girls June 27-29 for youths entering grades 3-8.

The camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon. Fee is $20 per player and each camper will receive a T-shirt. Registration will be in advance or from 8-9 a.m. the first day of camp.

Fairland youth football

camp set for July 19-21

The Fairland football and speed development camp will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 19-21 for youths entering grades 2-8 at Jim Mayo Stadium.

Lady Vikings plan girls’

basketball shootout

The Symmes Valley Lady Vikings will host a girls’ basketball shootout Saturday at the high school and elementary buildings.

The shootout begins at 9 a.m. and entry fee is $125 per team. The event will accept the first eight teams.

Ironton youth soccer

registrations planned

The Ironton Area Youth Soccer Association will conduct registrations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, July 9 and 16, at Bob Linn Sporting Goods.

The league is for ages 4 to 14 with birthdays between Aug. 1, 1997 to July 31, 2007.

Fee is $20 per youth and $15 for each additional sibling.

There will be a $5 late fee assessed per player after July 27.
