Three area baseball players have been honored by the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches’ Association with their selection to the All-Ohio team.

In Division III, Coal Grove Hornets’ senior catcher Jake Murphy was named to the All-Ohio honorable mention list.

In Division IV, St. Joseph Flyers’ senior third baseman and pitcher Tanner Riley was named to the All-Ohio second team. Also named to the Division IV All-Ohio team was the Flyers’ sophomore catcher Justin Mahlmeister who was an honorable mention pick.

Some other area players honored include Josh Myers of Portsmouth and Brice Crabtree and Alex Holcomb of Lucasville Valley. All three were honorable mention in Division III.
