FLATWOODS, Ky. — William Joseph Johnson, 86, of Flatwoods, died Sunday, July 3, 2011, at his residence. He was the husband of Elizabeth Ellen Brown-Johnson, who survives. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with the Rev. Sandy Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, with military honors conducted by the VFW Post 8850 of Ironton and military escort provided by the Patriot Guard Riders. Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
