Helen Marie Boggs, 91, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at the Jo-Lin Health Center in Ironton. The Pedro native was born Sept. 16, 1919, to the late John and Nola Jean (Baker) Kelley.

In addition to her parents, Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Boggs; her daughter, Nola Jean Donley; son-in-law, Marlin Donley; four sisters, Ethel Fayne, Violet Sharp, Evelyn Sharp and Beatrice Wilson; and two brothers, Orlyn Kelley and Kenneth Kelley.

Helen is survived by two sons, Walter Kenneth Boggs of Ironton and Roger (Patricia) Boggs of Pedro; four granddaughters, Michelle (John) Webb, Marisa (Michael) Miller, Leah (Scot) Markel, and Arlene Kidd; one grandson, Michael Donley; and five great-grandchildren, Seth, Ethan, and Camryn Miller, and Ava and Aubree Markel.

Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home with Pastor Leon Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Wednesday.
