The Counseling Center, Inc is announcing the agency’s third annual 2011 Natural High 5K Run/Walk scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 beginning at Tracy Park.

The race route includes a view of the murals to Alexandria Point, the riverfront, and returns to Tracy Park.

The 2011 Natural High Run/Walk will generate funding to support the agency’s ongoing prevention and uutreach programs for At-Risk youth in the community.

The Counseling Center currently provides area children, ages 5 – 12, with quality recreational, motivational, and educational opportunities during its Summer Outreach Camp.

Funds raised will also help underwrite our community school based prevention services for students from elementary school through high school.

Many of our young people face tremendous challenges when it comes to making wise choices about drugs, alcohol, and crime, when they are faced with peer pressure. The Counseling Center works diligently to help students stay in school and prepare for a productive future.

Agency staff feels strongly that these programs have and will continue to make a positive difference in their lives, but it is critical that it receive community support in order to continue the work.

This year’s committee hopes that the public will consider one of the following sponsorship levels and/or participate in the even on Oct. 16.

• Friend $50 donation—Your name or company name will appear on our race day banner.

• Blue Level $150 donation — Your name or company name will appear on our race day banner and you will receive one free race entry.

Your company logo will be printed on the back of the race T-shirts in an approximate 1” height.

• Gold Level $300 donation — Your name or company will appear on our race day banner and you will receive three free race entries. Your company logo will be printed on the back of the race T-shirts and in an approximate 2” height.
