Virginia May Handley, 89, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Proctorville, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Handley.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington, W.Va. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
