LAKELAND, Fla. — Virginia Agnes Kitts, 83, of Lakeland, died Aug. 29, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to heart failure.  She was born April 10, 1928, in Wayne, W. Va., lived for many years in Ironton and moved to Lakeland 10 years ago from Burlington, N.C.  Mrs. Kitts was an active member of Lake Gibson Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon Kitts.  Mrs. Kitts is survived by her daughters, Belinda Wolovich (Ted) of Polk City, Fla. and Peggy Selby (Kent) of Lakeland; brother, Charles Ballengee of Lakeland; nine grand children; and 12 great grand children.  Visitation will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home.  Graveside funeral services will be held Friday 12:30 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
