According to a statement from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a trooper who stopped Bloomfield’s car for a vehicle defect allegedly noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle’s passenger compartment.

During a search of the vehicle, authorities found digital scales, plastic baggies and other items used for selling marijuana, small baggies of pot ready for sale, two adderall pills and $1,085 in cash.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Proctorville Police Department assisted with the incident.
