PINE GROVE — The Ironton Country Club Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association met recently with Betty Fraley serving as hostess.

Along with refreshments that she served, she scheduled the ladies tee-off and golf partners for the day.

A reminder from the brief business meeting that the meeting time will change in two weeks to 9:30 a.m. instead of nine.

Plans are in progress for their annual guest potluck and Christmas party. Also, the yearly St. Joseph Golf Tournament will be upcoming and ladies were reminded to participate, if interested, contact Julie Roach.

Following the morning golfing, members lunched together in the clubhouse. The ladies always appreciate the help they receive from Burl Bunker in the pro shop. having their clubs ready, assisting them at lunch time and keeping them informed of the changes that occur on the course each week.

Fraley then announced the weekly winners of golfing events as Pat Riggs and Nancy Livingston winning three.

Livingston will serve as next week’s hostess.
