PEDRO — The Coal Grove Lady Hornets got the win, but they had to work for it.

The Lady Hornets remained unbeaten in the Ohio Valley Conference with a tough 25-21, 26-24, 21-25 and 25-15 volleyball win over the Rock Hill Redwomen on Tuesday.

Cheyenne Bellomy and Gabbie Carpenter had 20 points each to lead the Lady Hornets.

In the junior varsity game, the Lady Hornets won 25-20, 21-25, 25-16 as Ashley Collins scored 16 points.

Coal Grove (12-1, 7-0) hosted South Point on Thursday in a league game.
