Hildy Moore Crawford, 70 of Ironton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. The Ironton native was born Sept. 14, 1941, the daughter of Loretta Slaughter Moore of Ironton and the late Earl Moore.

Ms. Crawford was a 1959 graduate of Ironton High School. She was a homemaker and a parish cook for the Ironton Catholic priests at the Ironton rectory. She was a member of the St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Moore.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Jim Colegrove of Ironton; son, Rob Ferguson of Ironton; son, Rick Ferguson and his fiancée, Treesa Farley, both of Ironton; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Stephanie Crawford of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Michael Crawford of Ironton; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Janice Moore of Stout; grandchildren, Jay and his fiancée, Brittany, Andy, Chris, Candace, Adam, Lindsay, Mylee, Hannah, Nick, Dyllan, Isabella and Haleigh

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church in Ironton with Father David Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be today from 6-9 p.m. at Hayes-Phillips Funeral Home A Rosary service will be held at 8:30 p.m. today.
